Our Mission
The Health Plan Partnership of Minnesota works to advocate for health plans to have the tools and resources needed to best promote policies and advocate for accessible, competitive, high quality, and affordable health care across Minnesota.
Being a collaborative voice at the Capitol, advocating for the interests of health plans and their members on legislative and regulatory issues.
We do this by:
Promoting collaboration among health plans, providers, clients, brokers, other health care associations and key stakeholders to assert policy toward the provision of high quality, affordable and accessible health care in Minnesota.
Educate policy makers, opinion leaders and regulators on the implications of policy concepts and proposals. We are both proactive and defensive on legislation and state policy initiatives.
Staying relevant. We will be thought leaders for Minnesota - including media and the public in addition to public officials - to shape public policy for Minnesota.
Advocating for Medicaid policies that achieve coverage without bias.
Promoting opportunities and create forums for health plan members to meet, exchange ideas and discuss critical issues affecting the industry and industry effectiveness, with respect and adherence to all anti-trust laws.
